Stanley Donwood has compared writing for Acid Jazz - Various Artists’s new album to that on ‘Us3 - (1993) Hand On The Torch’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. This fourteen-song debut EP shows the promise that Acid Jazz - Various Artists has. Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like Us3 - (1993) Hand On The Torch.
When listening to I Got It Goin’ On (Us3), it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. Different Rhythms (Us3) makes a person feel astounding. It’s Like That (Us3) is a good listen every once in a while. Just Another Brother (Us3) is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite. This track is just a stunning masterpiece. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on Us3 - (1993) Hand On The Torch. Tukka Yoot’s Riddim (Us3) is worth the money. Once you hear Knowledge Of Self (Us3), you will listen to it over and over. Put Lazy Day (Us3) into car stereo for your highway driving Eleven Long Years (Us3) is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. Still going through Us3 - (1993) Hand On The Torch and coming to appreciate Make Tracks (Us3) more and more with every listen. The Darkside (US3) is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo.
