Albatross’s debut, ‘Everybody’s Got The Blues’, does not fit easily into one genre. Albatross was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Albatross and Everybody’s Got The Blues together. This album has some very good songs like Intro and Too Late Now. This is what good Blues should be.
Musically Too Late Now is superior to other tracks in Everybody’s Got The Blues. Fine, Fine, Fine is a exquisite song and it grows on you. Albatross is one of artists that allow his songs like Feel So Good to stand on their own and be heard. I Don’t Know Your Name is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Albatross released so far. I like Move It On Over because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. This song is dynamic and dramatic. Intro is beautiful, yet underrated track. |titile| is the kind of record that makes you remember why music can be so addictive. Never Say Die is the most memorable and perfect. Full Moon On Main Street is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Everybody’s Got The Blues. Such hits like Freddy Wants A Cadillac will leave you hooked. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. Sweet Little Angel is the albums biggest surprise. Night Time People - To me, this is the best song on the Everybody’s Got The Blues. Tempted is pretty funky and mellow.
