Live 92-93 isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. This disc has all of the essential Albert Collins classics. four years ago, Albert Collins briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Lights Are On But Nobody S Home”. I love this album so much, i’ve been crazy about Albert Collins ever.
Simple and heartfelt closing track Lights Are On But Nobody S Home closes Live 92-93 on a high note. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on Live 92-93. You have to get essence of the Frosty’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. Travelin South makes a person feel exquisite. A great put together song. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. I Ain T Drunk is the first taste of the new album. T-Bone Shuffle is possibly the best song Albert Collins has come up.
