‘Funky London’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. There were many famous songs of Albert King available. On the Canada charts, superstar Albert King’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. Funky London constantly brilliant.
Can’t You See What You’re Doing To Me is a very catchy tune. Funky London had me crying as I was able to relate so well. Lonesome is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Albert King ever produced. Bad Luck is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Funky London. Sweet Fingers (5:19) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! No Albert King song has come close to capturing my attention as Finger On The Trigger did. Drivin’ Wheel - To me, this is the best song on the Funky London. Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right.
