After debuting at No. 1 last week, Ambient - Various Artists’s album Em:t 3394 falls to No. 2 with 221,000, a sales slide of 73%. There is no doubt that Ambient - Various Artists has talent. This is what good Ambient should be.
I believe Mud & Quartz (David Toop) is one of the most perfect, heartfelt songs ever written. Saguaro (A Small, Good Thing) is really a nice song to relax and listen too. Borders (Bad Data) is one of these floating songs. Opening track Blood (Voodoo Warriors Of Love) shows the best of Ambient - Various Artists. Get Em:t 3394 and turn on Microscopic (Gas) if you are going to sip your wine late at night. Don’t judge Nine Churchill Drive (International Peoples Gang) on the first listening. When I listen to Light Storm (Miasma) in my car when traffic ain’t going so good.
