This album has some very good songs like Beneath The Shroud and Regime. There is so much to love about Anenzephalia, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. There is no doubt that Anenzephalia has talent. One of Anenzephalia’s best albums yet.
The opening track Regime is very much like you would expect from other albums. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Kachexie, which shows, blatantly, how much Anenzephalia has evolved as a singer. Infernal Wake is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. Thaum is one of my favorite songs by Anenzephalia. Abiding Broadcast Contamination is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. I now have Genealogy Of Disease as one of my personal favorites. Anenzephalia rocks harder than ever with Liebombast. After you’ve listened to Schockwelle-Krisis, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. Ultra Fear Perception has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. Coroners Eyes is one of the coolest songs Anenzephalia has ever recorded.
