After seeing So What, I had to have a good Anti-Nowhere League cd. ‘The Horse Is Dead’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. This sixteen-song debut EP shows the promise that Anti-Nowhere League has. Great Hardcore right here!
Pig Iron is probably one of Anti-Nowhere League’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. For You - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Anti-Nowhere League. Crime which is my favorite is a truly Anti-Nowhere League sounding song. |titile| is a sure sign of something most of us are experiencing, maturity. Animal gives good insight into the truths. Nowhere Man is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after The Horse Is Dead have ended. I can’t stop playing I Hate People. Music of Break The Law is gentle, never overbearing. Lyrics of Noddy are precise and evocative. In Snowman Anti-Nowhere League spins a tale you want to hear to the end. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. This song is dynamic and dramatic. Once Runaway gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is League because the melody in the chorus is so good.
