When you buy a Antonio Carlos Jobim album, you know exactly what you’re getting! This album has some very good songs like The Girl from Ipanema and Carinhoso [#]. Since completing 1995’s ‘The Girl from Ipanema’, Antonio Carlos Jobim fulfilled their contract with Columbia Records and where under no obligation to release another album. To me Antonio Carlos Jobim is the best band ever.
Carinhoso [#] is a very catchy tune. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. Sue Ann one of the best in my collection. I was truly moved when I heard Remember. Tide is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle. Takatanga is worth the money. Caribe - My least favorite song on this album. Music and lyrics of Rockanalia creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming.
