This is the first studio album from Aphex Twin since bad diagnosis in 1994. Words and Music CD5 carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. seven years ago, Aphex Twin briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Blue Calx”. This is what good Industrial should be.
Blue Calx stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. I love the melodic melody of Words and to this day it makes me feel good. Song Parallel Stripes is actually a funny song. This song stands out greatly from the others. I have all of Aphex Twin’s tracks and Hexagon is probably the most his introspective effort. Words is excellent work of Aphex Twin. Words [processed] is almost impossible to review.
