Lead single “Hurrah Hurrah Apocalypse” and “Sexual Revolution” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Army Of Lovers’s debut, ‘Glory Glamour and Gold’, does not fit easily into one genre. IF YOU LIKE ALL Army Of Lovers’S SONG GO FOR IT! Glory Glamour and Gold is preety good and all the songs have a good meaning behind them.
Sexual Revolution is a bit of a show-tune. Simple and heartfelt closing track Stand Up For MySelf closes Glory Glamour and Gold on a high note. In Lit De Parade Army Of Lovers spins a tale you want to hear to the end. Life Is Fantastic is beautiful, yet underrated track. I like the idea behind Mr. Battyman. Nice and different song. Thine Like - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Army Of Lovers. You’ve Come A Long Way Baby is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. Lyrics of Ballrooms Of Versailles are precise and evocative. Like A Virgin Sacrified - A nice song. It’s such an underrated song.
