IF YOU LIKE ALL Ataraxia’S SONG GO FOR IT! Since completing 1996’s ‘Passagio Lustrale’, Ataraxia fulfilled their contract with Blue Note Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Since Ataraxia last CD (Concerto N6) on Blue Note Records back in 1996, I have felt a massive void in my life. Ataraxia is one of my favourite bands of all time.
Scarletminded Echoes is the most memorable and perfect. After few listenings I started to like The Winds Of Carmint more and more. I can’t stop humming along Belle Rose Porporine. The first time I listened to Astore Serotina I was struck by its astounding sound. Ticket To Ride has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets Ataraxia’s strong vocals come to the fore. I was truly moved when I heard La Bourgoise Et La Noble. Maybe-O’-The Leaves is a perfect sing-along. Music in Bleumarine is perfect as in all tracks of Concerto N6. Dulcamara (2:05) - awsome. When listening to I’m Wind, it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. Lei Morra (live) - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. This is probably my favorite song on the album. Scarletminded Echoes (live) is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. Wide White Wave (live) one is one of the better boring ones.
