This ten-song debut EP shows the promise that Azymuth has. sixteen years ago, Azymuth briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Valsas De Uma Cidade”. Carioca carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. Carioca is the best essence of Azymuth.
Valsas De Uma Cidade makes a person feel amazing. Beyond The Door is possibly the best song Azymuth has come up. I now have Bom Tempo as one of my personal favorites. Labaredas have really caught my ear and imagination. O Bloco Do Eu Sozinho is a very catchy tune. Toque De Cuica is a medium tempo tune. This song stands out greatly from the others. I think Love Beat Prelude is the best song Azymuth has ever done.
