‘Light as a Feather’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. When you buy a Azymuth album, you know exactly what you’re getting! After seeing Montreux, I had to have a good Azymuth cd. If I may, I suggest “Montreux”. That one song is amazing!
This track is a great song that still never gets old. This Exists (Existe Isto) is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. After few listenings I started to like Young Embrace (Um Abraco Da Mocidade) more and more. This track is full of harmonies and gets Light as a Feather off to a relaxing start. Light As A Feather - This one makes me want to not only sing along. In Fly Over The Horizon (Voo Sobre O Horizonte) the music gets its power. Partido Alto is beautiful, yet underrated track. The sound in Avenida Das Mangueiras is really warm and Azymuth’s signature voice is still very much present. Voice and instruments in Jazz Carnival complement each other.
