For older fans Outubro will put a massive smile accross your face. Outubro isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. Self-described as Jazz with lots of words, Azymuth comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. I love this album so much, i’ve been crazy about Azymuth ever.
500 Miles High is really a nice song to relax and listen too. In Swamp (Pantanal) it becomes nowhere more obvious that Azymuth has yet to define own style. You can find feelings on this piece of art. Letter To Airto (Carta Pro Airto) - This one is lively and fun. October (Outubro) stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. This track is just a stunning masterpiece. A Friend (Un Amigo) has a fun tempo. Dear Limmertz Prelude is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Azymuth ever produced. Light As A Feather - a classic song. Partido Alto is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Azymuth released so far. This Exists (Existe Isto) (4:36) - awsome. Jazz Carnival is the song that really did it for me. I love the melodic melody of Dona Olimpia and to this day it makes me feel good. Charming song, great melody.
