Bally Sagoo had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Bally Sagoo on ‘Chura Liya’. Bally Sagoo’s debut, ‘Rising From The East’, does not fit easily into one genre. Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like Rising From The East.
Tum Bin Jiya - This one is lively and fun. I now have Ban Mein Aati Thi as one of my personal favorites. After few listenings I started to like Nach Malanga more and more. Dil Cheez is simple, dignified and effective, Bally Sagoo refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. Tere Nain is really a nice song to relax and listen too. It took me a little time but I ended up loving Jitna Humne. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Rising From The East is Aaja Ve Maahi. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. Milna Julna is worth the money. Within the first few notes of Dil Cheez (remix) it’s perfectly clear that Bally Sagoo is living this song.
