Bananarama’s debut, ‘Ultra Violet’, does not fit easily into one genre. There is so much to love about Bananarama, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Ultra Violet is an amazing album, racked with beauty.Another great offering from Bananarama.
I loved Give In To Me the first time I heard it. Don’t Stop Me Now had me crying as I was able to relate so well. Time Out - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. You’ve Really Got Something is one of the best records ever. Maybe The Next Time which is my favorite is a truly Bananarama sounding song. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. When I listen to Take Me Away in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. A great put together song. Take Me To Your Heart (3:56) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. Rhythm Of Life - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. I love the melodic melody of Every Shade Of Blue and to this day it makes me feel good.
