On the Hungary charts, superstar Basic Element’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. This album has some very good songs like Take Me Up and Boys. Lead single “Take Me Up” and “Boys” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Startrack is the best essence of Basic Element.
Boys still maintains something of a specific flourish. When listening to Can’t Forgive You, it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. Only one song from Startrack named Give Me The Vibes really got me. Talk To Me is a very catchy tune. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. If I Had Wingst is a strong cut, one of many. Lyrics of Nighe Yeas are precise and evocative. Rule You World was the first single release from the album Startrack. Sahme (Club Mix) sets the tone for the entire album. Once Shame gets in your head, it will NEVER leave.
