Self-described as Blues with lots of words, B.B.King comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. On B.B. Boogie album, B.B.King have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. I am not a real Blues music type of person, but i have to admit ‘B.B. Boogie’ really is amazing. Another great offering from B.B.King.
Army Of The Lord makes a person feel perfect. B.B. Boogie is the most memorable and gorgeous. Blue Can You Get catches attention immediately, No B.B.King song has come close to capturing my attention as Everyday I Have The Blues did. There is cool mix of music in I Never Heard A Man. It’s My Own Fault Baby - To me, this is the best song on the B.B. Boogie. Paying The Cost To Be The Boss is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart. This is one hell of a track. Save A Seat For Me presents the marvelous mix of instruments on B.B. Boogie. What sets Servant’s Prayer apart is B.B.King’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres. Sweet Sixteen is the funkiest number on the album. Swing Low Sweet Chariot / Rock Mo Lord is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in B.B. Boogie. This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create. The song feels complete.
