This album has some very good songs like Playin’ With My Friends and Since I Met You Baby. Since completing 1993’s ‘Playin’ With My Friends’, B.B.King fulfilled their contract with Columbia Records and where under no obligation to release another album. There is so much to love about B.B.King, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. It is very deep stuff - very exciting
This is the kind of song I think of when I think of B.B.King. This song is dynamic and dramatic. Listening to You Shook Me you can hear that B.B.King has still amazing chemistry with band members. A unique and uplifting song. There’s Something On Your Mind - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. B.B.King has astounded me with this amazing track. Call It Stormy Monday is a strong cut, one of many. You’re The Boss is nothing but pure genius. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. I listened to the opening track Her (I Gotta Move Out Of This…) and liked it a lot. Everybody’s Had The Blues is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about.
