Opening track Repartee-01 shows the best of Billy Taylor. Take The A Train - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. It’s a great pleasure to listen to A Night In Tunisia from the beginning to the end. Caruso have really caught my ear and imagination. Repartee-02 is worth the money. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in Billy Taylor Trio 1962.
