This disc has all of the essential Brian Eno and Jah Wobble classics. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Brian Eno and Jah Wobble on ‘Where We Lived’. Brian Eno and Jah Wobble was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Brian Eno and Jah Wobble and Spinner together. This album is awesome.
Like Organza is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. Steam is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. Garden Recalled is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Spinner. Marine Radio is the albums biggest surprise. I like Unusual Balance because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. In Space Diary it becomes nowhere more obvious that Brian Eno and Jah Wobble has yet to define own style. Spinner is a good listen every once in a while. Transmitter and Trumpet gives good insight into the truths. Left Where It Fell on Spinner is solid and easy to listen to.
