It’s natural for Built to Spill to take a stab at ‘In The Morning’ considering her long-professed love for Godless Cruelty. Jim Jones has compared writing for Built to Spill’s new album to that on ‘There’s Nothing Wrong With Love’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. On There’s Nothing Wrong With Love album, Built to Spill have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. IT makes me wanna dance!
This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on There’s Nothing Wrong With Love. The opening track Big Dipper is very much like you would expect from other albums. I like to sing along with Car, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. Fling - another great track from the There’s Nothing Wrong With Love album. Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. The Source - A nice song. Twin Falls - A catchy, upbeat tune. Strong, powerful vocals of Built to Spill in Some are very impressive. Distopian Dream Girl is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. Israel’s Song - For me, this is the best of the album. |titile| is a sure sign of something most of us are experiencing, maturity. Built to Spill offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself.
