Butthole Surfers’s debut, ‘The Hole Truth…and Nothing Butt’, does not fit easily into one genre. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Butthole Surfers. The Hole Truth…and Nothing Butt is an amazing album, racked with beauty.Lots of variety between tracks. My favorite is Something
Something - A classic Butthole Surfers track. Moving to Florida had me crying as I was able to relate so well. Hurdy Gurdy Man is really the reason why I recommend buying The Hole Truth…and Nothing Butt. This is one hell of a track. Cherub is one of the best records ever. Once you hear Graveyard, you will listen to it over and over. I loved U.S.S.A. the first time I heard it. Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. John E. Smokes is gorgeous and different song. 1401 is a strong cut, one of many. Charming song, great melody. Bon Song gets you up and jumping. Wooden Song - Butthole Surfers first major hit. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on The Hole Truth…and Nothing Butt is Pittsburgh to Lebanon. Shah Sleeps in Lee Harvey’s Grave is worth the money. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener.
