Listening to Black Narcissus you can hear that Cal Tjader with Charlie Byrd has still amazing chemistry with band members. Overall a nice softer song. This song is like perfectly aged vintage bordeaux wine not a tequila shot. San Francisco River is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Tambu. What sets Samba De Oneida apart is Cal Tjader with Charlie Byrd’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres. Don’t Lend Your Guitar To Anyone (Violao Nao Empresta A Ninguem) is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo.
