This is one of the best Cd’s Camela has dropped to date. While no new Camela album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1994 tour in North America. It has been two years Camela’ last studio CD, “Lagrimas De Amor” which won Array Grammy Awards and was nominated for album of the year. Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like Lagrimas De Amor.
Estoy Arrepentido stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. Estrellas De Mil Colores - A nice song. I can’t stop playing Te Quiero A Morir. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. Ilusiones - Camela first major hit. Mas La Quiero Yo one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard. Lloraras is the song that really did it for me. Mi Madre, Mi Reina - another great track from the Lagrimas De Amor album. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. Simple and heartfelt closing track Gaviota Del Amor closes Lagrimas De Amor on a high note. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor.
