This is the first studio album from Camerata Mediolanense since bad diagnosis in 1994. ‘Musica Reservata’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. Camerata Mediolanense’s debut, ‘Musica Reservata’, does not fit easily into one genre. I love this album so much, i’ve been crazy about Camerata Mediolanense ever.
Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Notturno is my favorite song on Musica Reservata. Rosmunda is just simply stunning. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in Musica Reservata. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with La Madre Cattiva. Camerata Mediolanense must have run out of lyrics on the next track Esecuzione. Although Bardo, Messaggero is very melodic it is far from sad. Music of Il Ricordo Dei Giochi Delle Spose Del Vento is gentle, never overbearing. L’eco - A nice song. La Grande Corsa is another strong production from Camerata Mediolanense. La Fine Di Rosmunda - To me, this is the best song on the Musica Reservata. Toccata In Sol Min. is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done.
