Cannonball Adderley had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Cannonball Adderley on ‘Save Your Love For Me’. Cannonball Adderley was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Cannonball Adderley and Nancy Wilson and Cannonball Adderley together. I Love Nancy Wilson and Cannonball Adderley from start to finish!
Never Will I Marry is another favourite of mine. The Old Country has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets Cannonball Adderley’s strong vocals come to the fore. Happy Talk is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. The Masquerade Is Over still maintains something of a specific flourish. I like the agression and power of A Sleepin’ Bee. Some of the arrangements found on Nancy Wilson and Cannonball Adderley are surprisingly edgy. Teaneck - I like this one. I Can’t Get Started - A nice song. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think One Man’s Dream is my favorite song on Nancy Wilson and Cannonball Adderley. Although Never Say Yes is very melodic it is far from sad. Unit 7 marked the continuation of Cannonball Adderley in style evolution.
