It has been sixteen years Carole King’ last studio CD, “The Carnegie Hall Concert 1971″ which won Array Grammy Awards and was nominated for album of the year. For older fans The Carnegie Hall Concert 1971 will put a massive smile accross your face. This is one of the best Cd’s Carole King has dropped to date. I greatly enjoyed this CD.
So Far Away is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. I Feel The Earth Move is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. Carole King must have run out of lyrics on the next track Home Again. After All This Time makes a person feel amazing. Child Of Mine (4:05) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! Snow Queen is absolutely incredible. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on The Carnegie Hall Concert 1971. It’s Too Late is outstanding work of Carole King. Way Over Yonder is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. (You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman (4:09) a good melody. Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow/Some Kind Of Wonderful is possibly the best song Carole King has come up. You’ve Got A Friend - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. I find myself hearing bits of Beautiful here and there throughout my waking hours. Get The Carnegie Hall Concert 1971 and turn on Song Of Long Ago if you are going to sip your wine late at night. The song No Easy Way Down ending is my favorite… so catchy! Vocals of Carole King in Carry Your Load really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm.
