This is one of the best Cd’s Cerrone has dropped to date. Self-described as Dance with lots of words, Cerrone comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. There is no doubt that Cerrone has talent. It is very deep stuff - very exciting
Loved and Be Loved great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.You - Him - Me is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. Do You Like Watching - Check out that bassline! I believe Yes I Like Watching is one of the most exquisite, heartfelt songs ever written. The opening track Woman In Love is very much like you would expect from other albums. I find myself hearing bits of Fragrance Of You here and there throughout my waking hours. Cry For Freedom is a exquisite, simple song by Cerrone at the top of his game. It’s A Rap is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. Oh Johnny is probably the highlight of the album. After you’ve listened to Perfect Circle, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. X - Xex (Reprise) is a fine track on any terms. Voice and instruments in I’m Not Sleeping complement each other. Cerrone sings his heart out in Love and Be Love. Once you hear Love In C Minor, you will listen to it over and over. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. Music of See Me is gentle, never overbearing.
