Lead single “when day is done” and “swannee river” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. I am not a real Country music type of person, but i have to admit ‘The Guitar Genius’ really is amazing. This album has some very good songs like when day is done and swannee river. The Guitar Genius is preety good and all the songs have a good meaning behind them.
In swannee river you won’t find any flashy solos. The first time I listened to out of nowhere I was struck by its cool sound. I think it’s now or never is the best song Chet Atkins has ever done. hidden charm - A strong beat. heartbreak hotel is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. blackjack - a classic song. Chet Atkins rocks harder than ever with apple blossom wind.
