This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. Ela Danina one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard. Samba E Amor is a medium tempo tune. Rosa is a bit different from Chico Buarque stereotypical stuff. Joana Francesa is the exquisite blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. I listened to the opening track O Futebol and liked it a lot. Ela Desatinou is a great opener for Uma Palavra. The sound in Quem Te Viu Quem Te V is really warm and Chico Buarque’s signature voice is still very much present. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on Uma Palavra. Eu Te Amo is another strong production from Chico Buarque. This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. Vida rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo.
