There is no doubt that Christmas - Various Artists has talent. When you buy a Christmas - Various Artists album, you know exactly what you’re getting! Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Christmas - Various Artists on ‘Kyrieeleis’. Christmas album touched my soul like nothing else.
Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Christmas album is Come All Ye Faitfull. When A Child Is Born - This one makes me want to not only sing along. Il Est Ne Le Divin Enfant is a cool, simple song by Christmas - Various Artists at the top of his game. Hark! The Herald Angels Sing is worth the money. Little Drummer Boy is one of the best records ever. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Christmas - Various Artists. Ave Maria is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. I like Silent Night because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. What Child Is This is really a nice song to relax and listen too. Mary’s Boychild as a highlight of Christmas album contains a ton of exquisite melodies. This is probably my favorite song on the album. Song Petit Papa Noel is actually a funny song. Minuit Chretien one of the best in my collection. The First Noel (4:34) a good melody. Lyrics of Amazing Grace are precise and evocative. Voice of Christmas - Various Artists in Jerusalem Of Gold is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. Glory Glory Hallelujah without a doubt is the standout song of Christmas album. Album opener Ere Zij God is a bright, upbeat ditty.
