Self-described as Blues with lots of words, Chuck Brown and Eva Cassidy comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Chuck Brown and Eva Cassidy on ‘Let The Good Times Roll’. While no new Chuck Brown and Eva Cassidy album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1995 tour in North America. Enjoy the show.
Chuck Brown and Eva Cassidy rocks harder than ever with Fever. In You Don’t Know Me the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. The song feels complete. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. I’ll Go Crazy as a highlight of The Other Side contains a ton of astounding melodies. You Don’t Know What Love Is is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. Drown In My Own Tears to me is the best you can get from Chuck Brown and Eva Cassidy. All of songs on The Other Side and have something to say letting alone God Bless The Child. Red Top is simple, dignified and effective, Chuck Brown and Eva Cassidy refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. |titile| is the kind of record that makes you remember why music can be so addictive. Over The Rainbow is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood. This track is clearly meant to showcase Chuck Brown and Eva Cassidy’s vocal abilities.
