After seeing Blues Power, I had to have a good Clarence ‘Gatemouth’ Brown cd. On the Bulgaria charts, superstar Clarence ‘Gatemouth’ Brown’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. Since completing 1996’s ‘Blues Power’, Clarence ‘Gatemouth’ Brown fulfilled their contract with ForeFront Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Great Blues right here!
Somebody Else is a very catchy tune. Clarence ‘Gatemouth’ Brown emotions are reflected through Dockside Boogie. Charming song, great melody. Here I Go Again - A strong beat. Deep, Deep Water - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. This song is very powerful, its catchy melody will have you singing along in no time. A great put together song. I hope to keep hearing Clarence ‘Gatemouth’ Brown works for a long time to come. Some call Don’t Think Twice from Long Way Home as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Tobacco Road. Don’t Cry Sister is a very catchy tune. Long Way Home - A nice song.
