This -song debut EP shows the promise that Classical - Various Artists has. On V.A. - (1996) Miroque Vol. I album, Classical - Various Artists have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. ‘V.A. - (1996) Miroque Vol. I’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. One of Classical - Various Artists’s best albums yet.
Ninguno Cierre Las Puertas (Hortus Musicus) is the funkiest number on the album. Stella Splendens (Sarband) is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. |titile| is a sure sign of something most of us are experiencing, maturity. Spellbound (Love Is Colder Than Death) is beautiful, yet underrated track. Romanoir (The Merlons Of Nehmiah) actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on Classical - Various Artists’s face. Saderalladon (Corvus Corax) is a bit of a show-tune. L’albatros (Trinovox) is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. Remembering An Old Acquaintance (Anchorage) is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart. Paul’s Steeple (Convivum Musicum) is nothing but pure genius. After about the third Grozda Moma (The Bulgarian Voices) listen through, I began to believe this song is Classical - Various Artists’s essence. Big Mighty Drum Cake (Sea Of Tranquility) good vocals. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. Ave Maria (Engel Wider Willen) defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone. Anno Domini Mdlvi (Ataraxia) - A catchy, upbeat tune. Es Stount Ein Frouwe Alleine (Ougenweide) is a excellent, simple song by Classical - Various Artists at the top of his game.
