‘Worship The Glitch’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. IF YOU LIKE ALL Coil’S SONG GO FOR IT! Self-described as Industrial with lots of words, Coil comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Oh yes, this album gets Array out of Array
Opium Hum is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. Some of the arrangements found on Worship The Glitch are surprisingly edgy. Clorax Hurd (3:00) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. This song is very powerful, its catchy melody will have you singing along in no time. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Worship The Glitch is We Have Always Been Here. Manunkind is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. Bism is probably the highlight of the album. Hydlepark is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle. Hysteron Proteron Jewel is a bit different from Coil stereotypical stuff. Decadent & Symmetrical - This is a very lively song. Mono is another strong production from Coil. I now have The Halliwell Hammers (3) as one of my personal favorites. I hope to keep hearing Coil works for a long time to come. Coil has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving.
