There were many famous songs of Crowbar available. It’s natural for Crowbar to take a stab at ‘The Only Factor’ considering her long-professed love for UB40. Crowbar’s debut, ‘Time Heals Nothing’, does not fit easily into one genre. I greatly enjoyed this CD.
Crowbar offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. Time Heals Nothing is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. Leave It Behind is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. Through A Wall Of Tears catches attention immediately, Get Time Heals Nothing and turn on Lack Of Tolerance if you are going to sip your wine late at night. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Embracing Emptiness is my favorite song on Time Heals Nothing. I loved A Perpetual Need the first time I heard it. Still going through Time Heals Nothing and coming to appreciate Numb Sensitive more and more with every listen.
