Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Dan Gibson on ‘British Columbia’. Since Dan Gibson last CD (The Nature Of Canada) on Sparrow Records back in 1995, I have felt a massive void in my life. Dan Gibson had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. Enjoy the show.
It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: The Territories, which shows, blatantly, how much Dan Gibson has evolved as a singer. I loved Alberta the first time I heard it. It took me a little time but I ended up loving Saskatchewan. I like Manitoba because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. Overall a nice softer song. I listened to the opening track Quebec and liked it a lot. The Maritimes is pretty funky and mellow. This track is just a stunning masterpiece.
