When you buy a Dance - Various Artists album, you know exactly what you’re getting! It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Dance - Various Artists energies, virtually a rebirth. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Dance - Various Artists on ‘Rubberneckin’ - 8Up’. After Hours, Vol. 2: Last Call is the best essence of Dance - Various Artists.
Nimble - Slowly is a perfect, simple song by Dance - Various Artists at the top of his game. No. 5 - A.P.E. is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. Black Forest - Conga Strings - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Dance - Various Artists. I loved Mad Blunted Jazz - DJ Cam the first time I heard it. I like the idea behind Very Gently - 9 Lazy 9. I like to sing along with Das Land - No Se, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. It’s A Long Road - Funki Porcini - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. Jambient - Koolfang is one of the more up-tempo songs on After Hours, Vol. 2: Last Call.
