I am not a real Jazz music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Panamonk’ really is amazing. Panamonk isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. There is so much to love about Danilo Perez, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Panamonk constantly brilliant.
I now have PanaMonk as one of my personal favorites. Only one song from Panamonk named Bright Mississippi really got me. Think Of One is one of the more up-tempo songs on Panamonk. This track is clearly meant to showcase Danilo Perez’s vocal abilities. Hot Bean Strut is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Panamonk. Reflections to me is the best you can get from Danilo Perez. This is probably my favorite song on the album. Everything Happens To Me is a great opener for Panamonk. ‘Round Midnight is the first taste of the new album. Evidence And Four In One is really a nice song to relax and listen too. |titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in Panamonk.
