This is the first studio album from Deee-Lite since bad diagnosis in 1996. This album has some very good songs like Frenchapella and How Do You Say…Love. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Deee-Lite’s album Sampladelic Relics and Dancefloor Oddities falls to No. 2 with 384,000, a sales slide of 51%. If I may, I suggest “Frenchapella”. That one song is amazing!
How Do You Say…Love is one of these floating songs. Music Selector Is The Soul Reflector still maintains something of a specific flourish. D.M.T sets the tone for the entire album. Mind Melt - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. Call Me - Check out that bassline! I Had A Dream I Was Falling Thru A Hole In The Ozone Layer is pretty funky and mellow. No Deee-Lite song has come close to capturing my attention as Goodbeatapella did. I like to sing along with Good Beat, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. Song Say Ahh.. is actually a funny song. I Won T Give Up is one of the best records ever. There is gorgeous mix of music in Won T You Listen To What The Dj S Spinning. First time I heard Groove Is In The Heart was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing. In Heart Be Still it becomes nowhere more obvious that Deee-Lite has yet to define own style. Loveapella - A nice song. Although Power Of Love is very melodic it is far from sad. In Runaway full palet of sound is used by Deee-Lite to accentuate the presentation. This track is a fabulous selection of easy listening, suitable for any age, taste or occasion. Pussycat Meow is one of the coolest songs Deee-Lite has ever recorded.
