Since completing 1996’s ‘The Romantic Sounds Of Death’, Deinonychus fulfilled their contract with Virgin Records and where under no obligation to release another album. On the Malta charts, superstar Deinonychus’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. Such great and happy songs.
A Gathering Of Memories - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. A Last Lament is perfect and different song. As always, Deinonychus’s lyrics are worth listening to again and again. This track is full of harmonies and gets The Weeping Of A Thousand Years off to a relaxing start. A fantastic track full of wonder. The Gothic Statue is the most memorable and exquisite.
