Depeche Mode’s debut, ‘Singles Box 5 (Condemnation)’, does not fit easily into one genre. There is so much to love about Depeche Mode, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Singles Box 5 (Condemnation) is an amazing album, racked with beauty. This album is awesome.
Death’s Door (Jazz Mix) is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. When I listen to Rush (Spiritual Guidance Mix) in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. I hope to keep hearing Depeche Mode works for a long time to come. A great put together song. Once Condemnation (Live) gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. Personal Jesus (Live) is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. Enjoy The Silence (Live) is the cool blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. Some of the arrangements found on Singles Box 5 (Condemnation) are surprisingly edgy.
