This is the first studio album from Devakant since bad diagnosis in 1995. This disc has all of the essential Devakant classics. Self-described as Easy Listening with lots of words, Devakant comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. To me Devakant is the best band ever.
5th Obligatory - This one is lively and fun. Bhaktash Whirling is a very catchy tune. The song Crystallization ending is my favorite… so catchy! The Drunkard make listening to Devakant like being in some sort of time warp. This track is full of harmonies and gets Sacred Dances off to a relaxing start. Listening to As Above so Below you can hear that Devakant has still amazing chemistry with band members. The Truth within - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. This song stands out greatly from the others. Hoo Yah is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. Prayer stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. Circles(A Wish to be) sets the tone for the entire album.
