Diamanda Galas and John Paul Jon’s debut, ‘The Sporting Life’, does not fit easily into one genre. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Diamanda Galas and John Paul Jon’s album The Sporting Life falls to No. 2 with 435,000, a sales slide of 55%. IF YOU LIKE ALL Diamanda Galas and John Paul Jon’S SONG GO FOR IT! The Sporting Life touched my soul like nothing else.
A unique and uplifting song. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Dark End Of The Street. I listened to the opening track You’re Mine and liked it a lot. No Diamanda Galas and John Paul Jon song has come close to capturing my attention as Tony did. In Devil’s Rodeo the music gets its power. The Sporting Life is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. In Baby’s Insane full palet of sound is used by Diamanda Galas and John Paul Jon to accentuate the presentation. Last Man Down is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music.
