Stanley Donwood has compared writing for Die Krupps’s new album to that on ‘The Final Remixes’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. There is so much to love about Die Krupps, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. When you buy a Die Krupps album, you know exactly what you’re getting! If I may, I suggest “To The Hilt (Clawfinger Remix)”. That one song is amazing!
The song Paradise Of Sin (Revolting Cocks Remix) ending is my favorite… so catchy! Language Of Reality (Charlie Clouser and Mick Cripps Remix) actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on Die Krupps’s face. Fatherland (Sisters Of Mercy and Cassandra Complex Remix) is worth the money. When I listen to Worst Case Scneario (Gunshot Remix) in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. Die Krupps allows each song to breathe and flourish. One listen to the sheer beauty of Crossfire (Jim Martin Remix) was all I needed. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Bloodsuckers (Phillip Boa and M.D. Moses Remix), which shows, blatantly, how much Die Krupps has evolved as a singer. Iron Men (Kmfdm and Chris Shepard Remix) very upbeat. Inside Out (Carcass Remix) is a good listen every once in a while. New Temptation (Einstuerzende Neubauten Remix) great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. Die Krupps sings his heart out in The Dawning Of Doom (Waltari Remix). Die Krupps breathes new life into the music in Ministry Of Fear (N-Factor Remix). Metal Machine Music (Cassandra Complex Remix) is really the reason why I recommend buying The Final Remixes. The sound of Rings Of Steel (Pro Pain and Steve Remote Remix) is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created.
