It’s natural for Dirty Three to take a stab at ‘1000 Miles’ considering her long-professed love for 2 Unlimited. On Horse Story album, Dirty Three have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. There were many famous songs of Dirty Three available. Dirty Three is one of my favourite bands of all time.
Hope is beautiful, yet underrated track. I Remember A Time When Once You Used To Love Me - To me, this is the best song on the Horse Story. At The Bar is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite. The opening track Red is very much like you would expect from other albums. Although Horse is very melodic it is far from sad. I Knew It Would Come To T is a strong cut, one of many.
