This is the first studio album from DJ Shadow since bad diagnosis in 1996. DJ Shadow’s debut, ‘Midnight In A Perfect World’, does not fit easily into one genre. It’s natural for DJ Shadow to take a stab at ‘Midnight In A Perfect World (Lp Version)’ considering her long-professed love for Depeche Mode. Overall, I would highly recommend Midnight In A Perfect World CD.
This is one hell of a track. Red Bus Needs To Leave - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. Midnight In A Perfect World (Gab Mix) - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. The Number Song (Cut Chemist Party Mix) is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined.
