It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Doom energies, virtually a rebirth. It has been eleven years Doom’ last studio CD, “Fuck Peaceville” which won Array Academy Awards� and was nominated for album of the year. Ivan Grach has compared writing for Doom’s new album to that on ‘Fuck Peaceville’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. I love this album so much, i’ve been crazy about Doom ever.
Means to an End is so unique, as each one of the songs is. Black Monday is the more seemingly obscure song on Fuck Peaceville that bear up best to repeated listening. Stop Gap System very upbeat. Days Go By as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. Diseased is outstanding work of Doom. Nazi Die is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Fuck Peaceville have ended. Excellent vocals and musical performances. Money Drug - To me, this is the best song on the Fuck Peaceville. Music of Bury the Debt (Not the Dead) is gentle, never overbearing. This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create. Natural Abuse good vocals. Drowning in the Mainstream is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart. Same Mind - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. No Religion has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets Doom’s strong vocals come to the fore. The sound of Life in Freedom, Governed by.. is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. In this song fans will recognize the unique vocals of Doom. The opening track Beat the Boss is very much like you would expect from other albums. Relief (Part 2) on Fuck Peaceville is solid and easy to listen to. A Dream to Come True is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. This track is a fabulous selection of easy listening, suitable for any age, taste or occasion. It took me a little time but I ended up loving Exploitation. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. Doom rocks harder than ever with Obscenity. War on Our Doorstep has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. Police Bastard the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. Free Yourself (2:11) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! After about the third No Thought listen through, I began to believe this song is Doom’s essence. I have all of Doom’s tracks and Sold Out is probably the most his introspective effort. Once Relief gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. War Crimes is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. I came to like Circles. Multinationals can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Doom is all about. Doom offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. Slave to Convention I just LOVE this mix! The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. I hope to keep hearing Doom works for a long time to come.
