Since completing 1994’s ‘On A Spanish Train’, Ed Van Fleet fulfilled their contract with EMI Records and where under no obligation to release another album. While no new Ed Van Fleet album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1994 tour in South America. This is one of the best Cd’s Ed Van Fleet has dropped to date. This is my first Ed Van Fleet Album and i must say i am blown away.
It’s a great pleasure to listen to Shadows On The Water from the beginning to the end. The Brave Heart - A classic Ed Van Fleet track. Harvest Time without a doubt is the standout song of Fire Journeys. Pegasus is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. As Fate Will Have It makes a person feel marvelous. A great put together song. The opening track Crimson Sky is very much like you would expect from other albums. Ed Van Fleet has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving.
